The history of design duo Viktor & Rolf started in the late 80's, when Viktor Horsting (Viktor Horsting) and Rolf Snare (Rolf Snoeren) met at freshman Arnhem's Fashion Academy. Both artists were born in 1969, they immediately found a common language and common vision of the concept of fashion.
After graduation in 1992, Viktor & Rolf decided to work together. The first recognition came in 1993 when they were awarded three diplomas at the Hyeres Festival for experimental collection differed sculptural lines. Shortly thereafter they joined Le Cri Neerlandais, a group of young designers of the Netherlands, and organized two fashion shows in Paris.

To all other surprise and admiration more were added that the duo managed to translate their ideas into the language of avant-garde prêt-a-porter, which they did so well in the collection of autumn / winter 2000-01.
2009 On this day, recognizable and unique style duo Viktor & Rolf makes love to ryusham and tapes, voluminous and beautifully tailored jacket. Under their brand is now produced and men's clothing line, fragrance line and Viktor & Rolf. Designers continue to live and work in Amsterdam.
